Tearing Down Doors Of Time
photos by charls
i don’t know if you can tell in these photos (my friend’s camera gear was pretty ridonk so you might be able to see), but this little outfit shoot was riddled with all sorts of challenges: huge swarms of moth-like insects surrounding us, occasional bursts of “fake drizzle” adding a weird white fog to some of my shots, plus the endless foot traffic going up and down the little bridge i stood on…all making our supposed 5-minute shoot last much longer and just a tad more stressful. BUT, that said, it was still all good and fun. (:
in other news, i have finally found a denim dress that i really, truly love. i always wanted one and even came close a couple of times to owning a piece i really like…but they just never seemed to perfectly fit the “requirements” i had for a denim dress. this one does. just another reason to love thrift shopping!
dress – thrifted
shoes – secondhand
tote bag – from payless
boater hat – SM
bunny ring – c/o gurly glam

These pictures look perfectly effortless…not a swarm of moths or weird foginess in sight 🙂 And the dress is gorgeous too…I can see why you’re so pleased with it 🙂

Hi Bestie,
I am such a fun of yours and I also love thrift shopping. Do you care to share where you mostly thrift shop?
Keep on inspiring!
