Vlog # 3
oh, hi there! i made a short vlog for you guys. it’s pretty pointless, really, but i thought i’d say hello!
you don’t have to watch the video (seriously), but in it i ask for a little favor from you guys: please leave a comment on this post with your name and where you’re from, plus a maybe a little fact about yourself. i always love getting to know more about my readers! (:
you may also leave questions, comments, anecdotes, links to awesome stuff, or anything else you may want to leave (but keep it nice y’all!).
can’t wait to read all your comments! (;
PS
i really don’t talk this way IRL. it’s just super awkward speaking to a camera!

Hi Miss Bestie! 🙂 Hope you’re having a great day. I’m Michelle from Taytay, Rizal. I can call myself an idealistic 16 year old gal. I love reading your blog and i love how the way you wear and style your clothes. Really. After watching the Vlog, i must admit that you’re not just a blogger that blogs interesting stuff but you interact with your readers. 🙂 THANK YOU. 🙂 As a college freshie this coming school year, can you please give some tips or advice on how to survive and enjoy college life? Thank you again, Ciao. :)) More power to you and your blog.

Hi Ms. Bestie, I’m Lena and I live in happy, happy Quezon City. My passion is writing and it’s my ultimate goal in life to write about my family. Among other things, I also enjoy film photography and I am part of this online community called Lomography where everything related to analogue photography is celebrated. I recommend you to join so that you can share your lovely film photos to a wider audience. There are also tipsters and contests. Haha, I don’t work for them so don’t get me wrong, it’s just that Lomography is a really wonderful place to be in. Anyway, here’s my lomohome: http://www.lomography.com/homes/ellieoh
(hala, ang haba na :O )
More power and happiness to you. 😀

hi lena! thanks for sharing all those things. it seems like we have a lot in common! (: i’m not sure but i think it was also you who recommended the lomography community to me before. either way, i checked it out and really loved it. maybe i will join soon, if i feel like i will be able to properly update it and stuff. i think it could be really great! (:

Yes, that was me! I’m so glad you still remember. I wrote you before about how you inspired me to start my own fashion blog. I started it last year but I seldom update it. I’m trying to be better at it, though. Hope you browse through it. 😀

Hello! Jens here. 🙂 I’ve just started following your blog earlier this year. 🙂
Uhm, I love blogging as well. I’m not a fashion blogger, though. Haha. And I love photography and film. 🙂
I just want you to know that you and your blog posts are awesome. Haha! Keep it up. 🙂
For the question, how would you define your sense of style, And how would you differentiate it from the style of other fashion bloggers? 🙂
May 21, 2012 at 3:57 pm
hello jens! (: thank you for your kind words and for following my blog. <3 hmm, my style? to be honest, i've never really been able to define it before, because i feel it encompasses so many things so it's hard to pinpoint just one or two. i also try not to compare my personal style to other bloggers as i think each person has something unique to offer - but at the same time we get influenced by each other and the common things we share, so similarities can't always be avoided. i just know that i wear things that i truly love, and no matter what the outcome may be (i get teased about something "weird" that i am wearing, for example), i stand by who i am and the outfits i put together. i think getting dressed up should always be fun and something that gives you great pleasure and motivation. (:

Hi Bestie. Jasmin here and I’m from QC . I chanced upon your website through Lauren Dado’s and I’ve been a follower since. I like that your blog is simple, ‘no-fuss’ and I most specially love your fashion sense. Glad to know you are making a tutorial on your braided hair. Looking forward to more vlogs 😉
BTW Some of your photos I believe were taken around the U.P. Diliman campus and I am really hoping one day to see you ‘live in action’ 😉

thank you jasmin! i really appreciate all your kind words. (: i used to take a lot of my outfit photos in UP but sadly i don’t always find the time anymore. hopefully i can go back soon and take a few! i really love it there. (: and, haha, i think i would be insanely embarrassed if someone saw me taking pictures and recognized me from the blog! =^.^=

hi bestie, My name is diana and I am from the bay area, california, just 10 minutes away from san francisco. i started following your blog after seeing a few of your posts on lookbook. i love your sense of style as there is a ease to it. it doesn’t come across as forced or trying too hard and that’s refreshing. a little fact about me, i am a mother of three who still finds it important to have fashion and style. i am definitely inspired by your blog and natalieoffduty.
thanks for your posts!

hi diana! thank you for taking the time to leave such a sweet comment, and for supporting my blog! <33 mothers who stay stylish - and generally interested in fashion - always inspire me and make me happy, as i plan to do that as well (when the appropriate time comes, of course! haha). it also reminds me of my mom, who has always been so fashionable and is definitely one of the major influences in my life. (:
