Autumnal Moodboard + Wishlist

it has been a while, no? i’ve missed blogging terribly, but so much has been happening lately that it has taken a temporary backseat in my life. soon i hope to return to semi-regular posting again (and let you know what’s been going on!) but in the meantime, i thought i’d share a bit of fall inspo and some things i am currently loving.
being in the tropics, it’s not exactly easy — or practical — to live a true autumnal experience, but i try all the same. and as with every year, right now i am lusting over warm hues like mustard and rust, with rich greens and burgundy thrown into the mix.
on the music front, on the corner where you live by the paper kites has taken over my life. it is a phenomenal album filled with beautifully written songs that are not only easy to listen to, but stunningly poignant as well. deep burn blue is one such single from the album; and although i adore it, the other songs are equally as lovely that it’s hard to pick favorites.

shopping-wise, i’ve got a lot of plaid and leopard on my mind. i also have my fingers crossed that we get cooler weather for longer this time around, so i can snuggle in knits and layers (albeit light ones) for a few weeks before the heat and humidity take over once more. also, i desperately need that pumpkin+chai scented candle in my life.
