i get it, i look like i’m in high school. what else you got?
the day after my “encounter” with el presidente, i got an assignment to go to the vice president‘s office for a press conference on illegal recruitment. to make the long story short, i approached him for a question and then he asked me “are you new? i haven’t seen you before.” so i said, yes, sir. then he chuckled a bit and said, to the whole room, “i thought there was a high school student with us.”
ordinarily, i’d feel annoyed — even a tad humiliated, as the rest of the people there laughed along with him — but for the first time since i took this job, i just shrugged it off and gave him a big smile.
i must be growing up… (=

Wow, you handled that very well! I adore your dress and shoes.
And the 40s dress from Trashy Diva was a big splurge for me–I think it is the most expensive item in my closet now, but I had been pineing over it for so long I couldn’t resist any longer!

you´re so cute! all your past outfits are amazing!
you are very brave… i would freak out if the president would tell me something like that, but maybe is a good thing because you are out of the crowd 😀

Oh my God, I love that outfit! I’ve been on the lookout for shoes like that.
I get mistaken for a hs student at work all the time, which is bad enough when you work at a grocery store, but must be even worse when you’re trying to be taken seriously as a reporter. Oh well… if people still think we look 3/4 our age 20 years from now, I guess it won’t be so bad. 🙂

hi! 🙂 was trying to find an email address but with none insight, thought it best to go this way… so sorry!
Anyhow, just wanted to know if you can email me the addresses to those vintage stores in Manila. I’ll be going over at the end of the year to see some family so that would be a perfect excuse to get away after too much sansrival (is that how you spell it?) and shop my heart out! 🙂
Thanks Bestie, I really appreciate all the help you can pass on!
