Leather Wrap

leather (in my case, faux) is undoubtedly one of the most difficult things to wear in our tropical climes. with any sort of drop in temperatures i scramble around for all my winter-worthy items, and moto jackets are no exception. yesterday it drizzled for a bit and while most probably saw it as random a fluke in the weather, i took it as the perfect opportunity to debut my new zippered jacket, which turned out to be not only a super stylish element in my look but a really comfy cover-up as well.

I love your Jacket! Is it machine washable? How often do you clean leather?

thanks! i believe faux leathers are generally not machine washable, and some manufacturers recommend only dry cleaning. however i’ve found the “wiping method” to be an adequate enough way to get my jackets clean, typically using a damp cloth or even some baby wipes. if i want more thorough cleaning i’d handwash it with a mild soap/detergent and make sure not to keep it immersed in the solution too long. (i am by no means an expert on this; i’m sure a quick google search would prove to be more fruitful!) x
