hello! long time no blog (sorry about that).
lately i have been swamped with errands and things to do for my online store, Le Caprice (i just updated the SALE section with a dozen items–go check it out!), and all sorts of maid of honor duties for my best friend’s upcoming wedding. plus it didn’t help that my home wifi malfunctioned for over a week! *sigh* they do say when it rains, it pours, don’t they?
anyway, i’m happy to finally be able to share these pictures we took several weeks ago. i honestly didn’t think they would ever make the blog, as they turned out way more grainy and fuzzy than i would ever prefer. it was just one of those days when john and i lost track of time–plus the sun has been setting much earlier these last few weeks–so we had to shoot this outfit on the cusp of twilight. however, i also couldn’t not post them, as i love this look and wanted to tell you all about it.
the dress was something i picked up from UNAROSA after i visited their newest branch at CO/OP manila. if you’ve been following me for a while you may remember that i briefly worked for the brand sometime ago, and it always makes me so excited to see them continue to grow and thrive in the industry. they have lovely designs that range from classic to trendy, so there is literally something for every taste. i was so stoked to even find some vintage-inspired pieces, including this polka dot midi that i am obsessed with! it’s an absolute staple, especially for this time of year.
also, can we talk about these sandals for a minute? i have been living in them. it’s the kind of footwear i like to pair with every kind of outfit and one that i opt for when i know i’ll be doing lots of walking. i got them a while ago off of shopbop and they are currently out of stock, but there are other gorgeous brown sandals i got my eyes on!
