in all my years of retro dressing, this is actually my first time to own and wear a pair of saddle shoes. it may not seem like a big deal but i have been wanting one for the longest time, so imagine my excitement when i saw these being offered by billie & llama! i knew i had to have them especially since they go perfectly with so many of my own pieces from le caprice.

case in point: this 50s-inspired gingham number looks even more deliciously retro with the shoe pairing. i couldn’t resist adding a vintage-looking camera for this shoot either; you guys know i can never resist a good prop!
