when summer’s torturous heat wave starts, dresses become my truest best friends and, essentially, my life saviors. they are the easiest things to throw on and allow at least some amount of breeze to cool me down on the most humid of days. this summer though i seem to be having a love affair with top-and-skirt combinations, which aren’t all that different from dresses really, except that they require more prior thought and consideration. but no matter: quirky fabric designs like this colorful ice cream print shirt (thrifted for about $1) make the process all but effortless — plus, you know, actually fun. in fact i’ve had quite a bit of luck shopping for summer clothes recently that i think another thrift store run is in order!

This outfit is so clean & perfect! I just love the clean lines and the print on your top is too cute. Also feel free to send some of your torturous weather our way, maybe we can trade temperatures for a few days. :p
