ever since i dyed my hair purple i’ve wanted to experiment with more hats and hair accessories. something about pastel hair just goes SO well with a wide variety of looks, from every end of the style spectrum. it’s been difficult to explore these possibilities though, because in the summertime i really just want to put my hair up in a thoughtless bun and call it a day. anyone else feel that way? just me? okay. haha.

thankfully i got out of that lazy-hair rut one day and managed to throw on this wide-brimmed fedora, since it seemed to complement my part-rugged, part-dressy quasi-utilitarian outfit for a day of eating & window-shopping with the boy. success!

on another note: how many times d’you reckon can i hyphenate words in a sentence before it becomes completely atrocious?
