Five-Way Friday: Silver Knee-Length Skirt

this almost feels like a #flashback type of five-way friday since i am featuring a skirt i used and loved for years. this little silver-gray number was a “branded” thrift find (by mango): two sizes too big on me but too darn pretty to pass up. pockets in skirts & dresses get me every time.
needless to say the skirt is now in someone else’s hands as i had sold it at BU a while ago, so i’ve not used it in an outfit post for almost a year. i do, however, have a similar one right now –albeit embroidered with a few adorable grizzlies — by book of dear (recently worn here), which reminded me of this old, beloved silver skirt. so i dug through my archives and picked my 5 favorite ways that i’ve worn it: with a victorian-style lace top, a couple of sweaters, some mixed prints, and one with a bejeweled dress tucked inside for a slightly dressier feel. i found that i was able to use it with a wide range of items and styles, as the sheen on the skirt was not overly metallic and intimidating.
i also found you some other options online, in case you are on the market for a sweet, versatile silver/gray skirt: one, two, three.

You dress so cute and dainty! and I’m still amazed that we share taste in clothes, i’ve been reading and following blogs but i can’t find a single blogger who has the same exact taste as mine.
I super like how you pair everything and I’m starting to be a fan of yours now. oh and your 3rd photo, the black sheer blouse, i have the (almost!) exact blouse LOL
