Ain’t No Passing Craze

while the title of this post may give you a pretty good idea what my current playlist is, it also speaks volumes on my feelings about these jeans — even wide-leg pants in general. i bought this light-wash pair years ago (on sale for barely P600!) and i have yet to get tired of it. although the silhouette can be intimidating at first glance or appear to be too dated to scrutinizing eyes, it is these very factors that persistently draw me to it. cut at the right length and paired with the right shoes, wide-leg pants can be your figure’s best friend, and the fact that such a look has come and gone for decades makes it a true classic in my book…all things i am more than happy to get onboard with.

this somehow reminds me of karen carpenters :).
the jeans make me feel nostalgic. i think (if my memory tells me right) it was called “elephant” pants way back when i was in middle school :). i like how you styled it with the white top and blazer; hippie and revealing just the right skin. 🙂

Jeans are very 90’s! I remembered wearing them in Christmas parties at school. I also love your up-do, a pretty neat look 🙂
