like many fashion-obsessed girls the world over i, too, am a big sex and the city fan — not only because of the show’s exciting plot twists and funny banter, but also the unending slew of sartorial brilliance that appears onscreen episode after episode. we all know, love, and would kill for carrie’s infamous closet: a collection of vintage and wonderfully unique pieces, mixed with that seemingly bottomless pit of designer footwear.

the lifestyle that i lead is far from that of carrie’s; i doubt i will ever amass even a small collection of designer goods, more so one to rival carrie’s [fictional] assemblage. however i have found the next best thing: this sweet metallic gold poster ($28) featuring hand-drawn illustrations of some 50 pairs of footwear featured on the show. from louboutins to YSLs and the many manolos in between, i can drool over ogle these iconic, sky-high kicks daily without breaking the bank.
