Tell Of Days In Goodness Spent
photos by charls
i feel like this whole shoot concept was years in the making. it’s not every day that these elements (50s-inspired dress, vintage bike, flowers, picket fence, etc.) simply come together, and it took a lot of hard work to achieve this look for my anniversary post. i sought the help of friends as well as strangers, brainstormed with creative minds and did plenty of online stalking research so i could fulfill this longtime dream.
so once again, i thank the people who helped me carry this out and celebrate yet another milestone of my blog. you all know who you are and when i count my blessings, you are right up there on that ever-growing list.
custom-made dress – frontyard
oxfords – lebunny bleu
necklace – vintage
ring – anagon
nails – MAC $$$$$ Yes & models own strawberry tart
vintage bike – bzkleta classic bikes

Happy 6th Anniversary to your blog Ms. Bestie! You’ll always be my favorite blogger and my fashion inspiration. I truly enjoyed watching your video. And the dress! That’s really a perf and gorg dress. By the way, you are sooo cute here. You really look like a barbie doll. 🙂
Can’t wait to see you again on BU7! Mwah mwah. 🙂

one of my fave Bestie posts! 🙂 i love the dress, especially :3
since i discovered your blog last year thru candy style guide, i suddenly became a ‘vintage hoarder’ of sorts. i even decided to have my upcoming prenup vintage themed.
whenever i shop, i tell myself, “think like Bestie.” thank you for inspiring me and helping me find the style i am most comfortable and happy with 🙂

that sounds absolutely lovely! hope you can share the photos with me when they come out; i’d love to have a look! (: and aww, aren’t you sweet… just be warned though, when you “think like bestie” you end up with so many crazy/confusing thoughts haha! x

Hi Bestie, very nice blog. Happy Anniversary. I’ll be having a vintage-themed pre-nup shoot this Feb and I would like to ask if you have contacts on where I can rent vintage props like bicycles, cameras, umbrellas and bags. Thank you.
