Continual Roil Of Distant Lightning

i know i don’t always dress this way on the blog but truthfully it’s one of those styles i consider to be part of my “comfort dressing” arsenal. dresses are obviously easier to throw on; they don’t require much styling especially on days when you are in a pinch. however dresses – or skirts, for that matter – are sometimes too high-maintenance for someone like me, who constantly goes on errands and commutes pretty much everywhere. so over the years i have learnt to love a good top-and-denim pairing and somewhat mastered the art of combining pieces together to create a look that, while easy and comfortable, is polished and something i wouldn’t mind wearing around town. plus, at the end of the day, these types of looks still feel very “me” — even without the usual frills or vintage vibe to them.
also, throwing on a moto jacket over anything makes it 110% cooler. true story.
