Five-Way Friday: Cargo Jacket
call it a cargo/military/army jacket, a parka, or whatever else, this piece is an absolute staple. i’ve surprised myself with its versatility and overall functionality: initially i thought it would only be appropriate when weather “permits it”, but is actually quite wearable any time of the year. i tend to go for those that are lightweight (thrift shops have a really great selection of them!) so i can throw ’em on without second thought. i’ve found such jackets to be great at toning down a dressy look or, alternatively, adding some spunk to an otherwise blah ensemble — either way they’re a chic, practical addition to any wardrobe.
