A Day Patched With Quilting

over the weekend i trekked to the mall and indulged in watsons’ 3 day sale, stocking up on make-up and tons of beauty/hygiene products. little things like buy-one-take-one hand soap and discounted cotton pads really excite me, so i was pretty much in heaven for well over an hour. john was with me, too, and while i picked out more tedious items such as foundation, he patiently stood by me and responded with an unsure smile every time i asked things like “does this look right?” or “which one looks better?” — questions, i’ve learned, not too suited to a male perspective. all the same we had lots of fun… or at least i did; you’ll have to ask john how it was for him. (;
