Fruit Of The Season

i am probably one of the few people in the country left without any plans to go to the beach this summer (oh the horror!), but i really prefer it that way. still, there are plenty of things one wears almost exclusively to the beach, and would look downright silly out of the sand — like this floppy hat. it is a treasured piece in my closet and yet it rarely gets to see the light of day. paired with a few other summer-y things, though, it becomes almost normal for a day out.
