Roads To Walk, Crosses To Bear
photos by vince
i recently sought the help of a friend to assist me in acquiring a government ID, and he was kind enough to take these photos for the blog. my other government-issued IDs have all expired — thus proving to be entirely useless in situations wherein i am required to show some valid proof of identity (which surprisingly happens more often than i’d like). my new ID has yet to be sent to me however, so now i am left pondering my other identification cards and whether i ought to have them renewed as well. one of them is my passport and every time i remember that it is currently unusable i feel a little pang of regret. it was tradition for my family to travel abroad every year but i’ve now realized i haven’t really been anywhere in a long while. it’s not the worst thing that can happen to a person, i know, but it is sad to think about since i am quite passionate about traveling.
oh well, maybe soon i will get going on my passport and perhaps plan a new adventure to some strange, exciting locale; a place dipped in fascinating culture, just waiting for me to discover its many wonders.
