Yabu
i went back to my favorite katsu place, YABU, alongside some of the country’s top food, fashion & lifestyle bloggers and personalities. we got to try a bunch of their new menu offerings, including a rather hefty serving of katsu-in-a-bowl – a.k.a. katsudon – which i absolutely adored. the yabu special katsudon, created especially by yabu chef master kazuya, is drizzled with a light and sweet miso-based sauce, accompanied by nori, bonito flakes, japanese basil, and fried egg on top. we also got a sampling of the restaurant’s new seafood platter that includes salmon, black tiger prawn, hiroshima jumbo oyster and creamy crab. delish!
