The Old Spaghetti House
as a kind-of-but-not-really post-birthday treat, one of my aunts took me to dinner and i especially requested to eat at THE OLD SPAGHETTI HOUSE (or “TOSH”, as it is fondly called). i hadn’t been there in quite a while, but it’s actually a really nice place with some really delicious food. plus i find their restos, like the one we visited in SM north the block, to be super cozy and lovely.
we indulged in one of their trio treats (a selection of three dishes + a pitcher of iced tea, good for 2-3 persons); the one called “best seller”. it included an appetizer sampler full of fried seafood, spaghetti pesto with grilled chicken, and their 5-cheese pizza. i was quite enamored with everything, honestly. not that the food was particularly ground-breaking or anything really new…but it was delicious nonetheless and gave me an odd sense of nostalgia.
comfort food really is the best. 🙂
