Blacksoup Cafe + Artspace
another trip to maginhawa st., quezon city, brought me and my friend to BLACKSOUP CAFE + ARTSPACE. it is a quaint little gem of a restaurant boasting of a wide array of yummy pasta dishes, most of which ooze with irresistible filipino flavor. the place looks amazing, too – filled with all sorts of quirky decor, like mismatched floral wallpaper, picture-laden tables, and a gorgeous wall clock with random postcards. definitely for the artsy fartsy in you!
for starters, we got the crab and mango roll with honey fish sauce. we then had the aligue pasta (crab fat, baby!) and the vigan longganisa pasta. the meal was topped off with a serving of mango turon with vanilla ice cream, and refreshing glasses of good ol’ calamansi juice.
all i can say is… nomnomnomnomnom.
