You smile like a saint but you curse like a sailor
so i watched dashboard confessional live and before i say anything else i just gotta get this out of the way:
chris carrabba is hotness personified.

my pictures don’t do him justice, obviously. darn my point & shoot! argh. must remember to bring a dslr next time.
anyway, this is what i wore to the concert. i’ll admit it’s a little silly to be all covered up in an outdoor concert with temperatures in the 90’s…but i really wanted to wear this frilly dress with ripped tights. plus the blazer totally went with the outfit. what choice did i have?

i also put my hair up a la chic muse. of course i know i don’t have denni’s effortless parisian style.. or her perfect legs… so this is literally the only thing i can copy off of her. haha.

the dress is one of the prettiest things i’ve ever worn. it’s from our sponsor, get laud. i am in love with its cut, color and darling shoulder detail. but even without those things i would still go gaga over it because the whole thing is made out of lace.

my best friend ginge and i had some dessert at parvati before the concert.

lace dress – get laud
pinstriped blazer – thrifted
skinny belt – thrifted
ripped tights – diy’d
mustard flats – maldita
eel clutch – vintage

I ate in Parvati a few weeks ago too. They were going crazy with the free tastes and free coffee. Is that still going on?
I love their um little chocolate things (wow, I am horrible with food). They are a poor man's Royce chocolate but oh-so-good.
I like the bun on you! Chic
