rainy day flowers
it’s one of those moments when you suddenly realize you’re holding a pot of fake flowers in front of the camera…
dress – thrifted
wooden platforms – cln
necklace – local online shop
parrot earrings – gift
anyway, the rain from last week was certainly a delight for me (again) because, hooray, it meant cooler weather! *jumps up and down*
meanwhile the tv station i work for is doing this obsessive thing of having news teams (i.e. mine) take sitners (i.e. video footages) of the rain. like, every single time it rains. seriously. the first time it happened i was confused by my boss’ order (via text), because we were currently covering an event at the senate (which she assigned to us). her message said, take videos of the rainfall, flood and traffic there, we need it right away. so i replied, ma’am, we’re indoors.
and she didn’t text me again..

EDIT:
p.s.
i need help! i’m going on a make-up shopping craze this weekend, and i am at a loss for what to buy (brand-wise). any great item you absolutely swear by? my top priority is mascara — i’ve been loyal to maybelline for years because it’s cheap as hell and delivers pretty great results, but now i’m feeling a bit splurge-y so any recommendation would be greatly appreciated! other things i need are:
+ a good concealer, hopefully one that doesn’t cake
+ pressed powder (for touch-ups mostly; one that gives enough coverage to last a long, long time!)
+ foundation primer (i know make-up forever has a lot of them but are they any good?)
seriously, any suggestion would do. thanks in advance!

The dress is great 🙂 I am not much of a make up girl, sorry I can’t be more help. I usually just go to mac or buy products from the drug store. I have recently had some luck with Clarins liquid concealer though 🙂 Enjoy your shopping splurge !

I like Clinque make up, but I’m a bit clueless when it comes to that as well!
Adorable shoes and the fake flowers are charming.

That dress is pretty cute.
From what I hear, there’s not a lot of difference between drugstore mascara and expensive brands, so I’d save my money and invest it in lipstick or eyeshadow or something.
